Waterfowl Outing

April 16, 2011
14 people enjoyed a beautiful spring day.
See list below.

Turtle Reflection
Yes it was a waterfowl outing but the trutles are always popular!

Turtle   Turtles
Cooler than usual so fewer were sunning themselves.

Fox carrying rabbit
Another non-waterfowl sighting.

Spotting Scopes   Group by cars
With so many looking we did of course see waterfowl.

Common Loon   Cormorant taking off
Common Loon and a Cormorant taking off.
Most of the ducks were too far away for good photos..

Osprey Flying   Osprey on nest
Osprey were seen flying and on the nesting platforms.

Common Snipe   Robin and Snipe
We had good views of the Common Snipe and his cousin, the American Robin.

Dianne and Irene   Gart and Paul
Many cans were picked up as we strolled and it was a good chance to visit.

Some walked or leaned on their own.
