16 people enjoyed a beautiful spring day in spite of a lack of waterfowl.
See list below.

Looking for waterfowl,

more looking,

and more looking.

Does an Osprey count?

Gart was along so we saw some plants too
The common field horsetail, one (the tan coloured one) is fertile and will quickly fade away,
the green one is the sterile frond which will persist throughout the summer and feed the rootstock for next spring

A few Painted Turtles were out and we saw evidence of beavers.

Irene spotted butterflies.

The Leopard Frog was a highlight.

Jim spotted a moose print.

Brian likes reflections - which one is right side up?

The trees are watching us.

A final consultation indicates it was a successful outing
even with few waterfowl.
